An Elderly Wish Foundation, a non-profit in Contra Costa County, seeks to enrich the lives of those who have terminal illnesses. They do this by granting a wish (and can do almost anything that you can imagine). Mary Chapman, the Executive Director, recently met with Engage As You Age and told us that they have wishes that they’d love to grant but haven’t received enough requests lately! Basically, they’ve got wishes to spare!
This great organizaton has done everything from plan and organize a last fishing trip between brothers, send someone to the Denver Broncos training camp and introduce them to their favorite players, and many other amazing experiences.
